SiMoS-IoT was created to develop site monitoring systems using IoT devices.
Since our establishment, we’ve developed systems to monitor the environmental conditions that paint and coating systems are exposed to during their drying and curing stages. Using this environmental information, the degree of cure of the coating can be determined which provided invaluable information to allow applicators to determine the appropriate time to undertake subsequent coating operations, or when to return the site to the facility owner.
SiMoS-IoT through its parent company, Illawarra Coatings, has recently been granted an Australian patent for this technology
